Thank you for this. I have all my devices connected to a TP-Link switch so did not try the direct connection. After installing SMB my HDR appeared on my Windows 10 File Explorer as HDR-FOX T2 Media Server. I didn't need to change its IP address manually.
Thanks to you both. I put "-f mp4" into Process Options and it worked. Then, to test Black Hole's hypothesis, I found a URL without a "-" and that worked without any options. So kudos to Black Hole and thanks again.
I have had the error below both before and after updating the package to the latest available version. I had done a few successful downloads before yesterday which is when this first happened.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Dave
Every time I try to get beyond the initial YouTube screen, it fails as shown in the attached photo.
The latest versions of CF, WebIf, portal and other packages are all installed.
YouTube via the standard portal works fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Dave
It doesn’t crash if FileZilla is connected to the box but not transferring anything (I haven't tried that but I could later) but it does when File Explorer is logged in without doing any transfers.
The portal crashed consistently earlier today when I tried to catch up on a BBC programme. I had just established an ftp connection from my PC using file explorer instead of FileZilla. Terminating that connection fixed the problem.
I have just completed downloading the two Proms from July 14 after initially having the Hummy crash every time I started downloading. So, as a shot in the dark, I initialized the apps from the Portal start screen (via the blue Settings button) and that seems to have fixed the problem.
I have been fiddling with the fan setting, switching it off and removing fan and restoring it. Last thing I did was set it to 44%, which is what the attached chart is showing.
There seems to be no logic to it.
I thought it was working - I could feel hot air blowing on by hand.
However, I seem to have fixed the problem by changing the fan setting from 45% to 50%. I've attached a screen shot.
That seems a very small change to cause such a big difference.
