I've skipped from page 1 to page 14 on this thread so of course I've missed comments, but does the Aura allow downloading ofr decrypted telly programmes to pc through router? (like my foxT2) ??

I have had the same problem for months. I suppose it's the transmitters. Some policy to save the whales sending weaker signals. HD recordings are far stabler than watching live, just for your information. Record HD, watch SD. Not a real solution though, just a bit helpful.

Hey Martin! It is now February 2019 and this WD Purple is doing sterling service, hardly any errors, i.e. fails during the crop operation. Loads of FTP transfers, etc. Maybe one or two fixdisc sessions to enable later removal of undeletable files. So THREE and a half years so far. (Would buy again)

In my experience I've never had a fixdisk run for less than two hours, but I too have bottled it and stopped after "too long", however running another fixdisk after that abort usually works out better, and completes ... maybe three hours but I find a gap where there's nowt on telly. Saturday...
