sorry guys still trying to sort this on and off ... that IP was when I changed my who IP range over and then back again, but the humax grabbed onto it and never released it.
Pihole has bounced 138 requests to that now extinct IP in the last 2 hours but it's driving me nuts

Annoyingly - it is actually connected to wifi on http://192.168.0.41/ -- yet it's still trying to connect to 192.0.2.100 .... not sure how changing DHCP on a working connection is going to fix this.

I changed my network address a while ago for a few minutes and then changed it back - since then part of the humax box took the subnet settings and wont give them up - shown in the images below- the requests fail because the address no longer exists. I've narrowed it down to MediaTomb...
Since Humax don't actively go out their way to block you from extending the firmware it's relatively simple to reflash a custom or modified firmware onto your PVR and then install the packagemanager that allows you to add and remove small apps with relative ease.
Unfortunately apple do actively...
On hindsight as to why... I'm not even sure now ... but for those with interest on doing to their idevices what has not been blessed...
