My OH bought it from Facebook, It arrived today with remote and the anti-tamper seal intact so its, it works fine so far so hopefully we can keep our Hummy going for a while longer. I saw on eBay some sellers selling used units for £99.
My OH has informed me he's bought another HDR-Fox T2 as it was a bargain at £25. We will now have Three lol, seems like he has plans to have a Hummy sanctuary lol.
I've been using 4k Video Downloader. It's a free programme for Windows, Mac and Ubuntu. It has to be simple for me to use and its as easy as pasting the youtube link into the programme. It works for me.
The sockets are horizontal, as for the fan I think its sucking air in, the new hummy has a label on the fan I can see but our original one doesn't seem to have one, my OH says he's sure the label is by the HDD end.
Joined the forum in an attempt to keep my little Hummy Fox going. Thank you for all the advice :) it's lovely being able to find out how to prolong their little lives. I am now the owner of 2 HDR Fox T2's and can now happily continue to record all my crap.
An update. The other half tried it again today and the front panel was indicating "TOO Hot" The fan was not running. After taking the lid off he cleaned the fan which was clogged up and then fiddled with the fan setting in CFW setting it to 50% after that the fan started and it now runs about 34...
Tonight, totally random and out of character my little Hummy started Freezing and going to a black screen :( I rebooted it, and it seemed alright for about 20 mins, and then the same thing happened. I've rebooted it at least three times, but it still freezes randomly. Luckily I've just bought a...
