I'm at a friend's... with a CF HDR-FOX I installed. WiFi dongle in the HDR, Win10 system on WiFi.
She says she has to keep rebooting the HDR to get network access to the WebIF, and I was sceptical but now I've seen it happen. Put the IP address into the Edge address bar, and it sits there looking at it and then comes back with "can't be reached".
"There you are, told you so".
Wait a minute. My iPad on the same network, Safari, IP address... WebIF starts up no problem.
Try again on Win10, no joy. I reboot the HDR from the iPad, and bingo Edge now connects.
Any clues what's going on? Anything I can look for? Obviously it's bloody Win10/Edge, but why would rebooting the other end sort it out?
