youtube not working

Hi. I am new to this forum, and have just purchased a new HDR-FOX T2 box.

I upgraded the firmware and put on the latest customised firmware. For some reason you tube is not working and I have no idea why. It just comes up with a black screen and white line across it.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to trouble shoot this?
 
For some reason Youtube and some other portal services are broken for everyone this evening. There is a problem somewhere. I'm sure they are aware by now.
