Thanks Ezra. I don't use the phono outputs at all, all video and audio are carried to a single TV over HDMI only. Just seems strange that the regular channels respond to the volume on the Humax remote but the HD channels do not. I'll have a look at that setting later.

No, there were no channels numbered in that range. I did a manual re-tune, noting down each of the mux numbers for my area and scanning each one in turn. I now have the "Press OK to watch in HD" message on the BBC channels again. I could have sworn that ITV and Channel 4 showed this as well...
