    Crop greyed out...

I have just done an update on my HDR-FOX-T2 and thought I would have a look at the crop facility? No matter what I try, it is greyed out - I have tried SD recordings, HD recordings, decrypting to no avail - is there a idiots guide ? I must have missed something! Thanks Chris

Sorry, now I am confused...the section (not thread, wrong word) at the top of the page says ... Customised Firmware?? Is this not where I started it? Chris

    Failed recordings...

This is not the correct thread??? I am talking about the custom firmware changes and this thread is titled HD/HDR-FOX T2 Customised Firmware? Chris

    Failed recordings...

Think there might be a bug somewhere... I got another failed recording message (from a recording that had already worked, and was not 0 bytes when I looked at it yesterday) When I checked, it WAS 0 bytes - so it looks as if something checking the recordings has stuffed it, or it was being...

    Failed recordings...

Apologies for the second reply but is has just occurred to me to look at the EPG remotely, and there are no channel numbers above 800 and no duplicate channels in the EPG (I am assuming they would appear twice with different numbers?) Chris

    Failed recordings...

I have just been reading about this - I will check when I get home if there is anything on the 800+ channels and retune if so Interesting about the EPG/Schedule updating, I have had the odd series recording fail and this would explain it, need to get my head around this - the only auto update...

    Failed recordings...

Yes, I got a warning that my custom software was out of date and upgraded the firmware to 1.02.32 and got the corresponding custom firmware (hence the email warnings - they are generated from the custom software I think?) Chris

    Failed recordings...

Since upgrading to the 1.02.32 firmware I have started getting email messages about failed scheduled recordings which I think is a new feature? Looks like the *.ts files are there but only one *.hmt file and it is 0 bytes...thought these were only for HD recordings, and these recording were...

    Disconnected network?

Good suggestion - deleted the old configs, did a reboot and then created a share to another folder and doing this noticed the prompt said 'amend domain or workgroup' so I added the workgroup from Windoze and the files/folders appeared! Trying it again now with the 'media' share but and will...

    Disconnected network?

Thanks very much - I have managed to work out what I needed to install, and have got the [modsettings] displayed in the folder list Looks like I amend the 'folder names' to create the connection settings, although it took me a while to work this out (would have been easier just editing the...

    Disconnected network?

I keep getting a disconnected network message when browsing the file system on my Netgear NAS box? When I check the network configuration everything looks correct (IP address etc) - I thought I had a dodgy cat5 cable and changed to a TP-Link mains transmitter/receiver (the original cat5 cable...
