Media, Storage, visibility of Synology NAS

When I first got my 2000T I had exactly the same problem. I haven't bothered looking to see if firmware updates have solved it - I guess probably not. I simply use my Sony Brava instead.

    1800T BUFFERING PROBLEM

What do you expect the result would have been with no padding and AR?

    Viewing photos on HDR 2000T

From memory you select a photo from the list on the left and then press either OK or Play/Pause.

Software version 1.01.13 for HDR-1800T and HDR-2000T to be broadcast OTA

Thanks, chaps. The point of the question was to seek some reassurance, there clearly being no guarantees, that I'm likely still to have a raft of recordings to watch when I get home. Which I now have.

Software version 1.01.13 for HDR-1800T and HDR-2000T to be broadcast OTA

Thank you for that. I can't check the current firmware as the Humax is about 12,000 miles away! I was more worried that it would ask us if we wanted to upgrade and then do nothing for the 6 weeks it'll take for us to answer. It's the sort of design annoyance that Humax seems so good at.

Software version 1.01.13 for HDR-1800T and HDR-2000T to be broadcast OTA

Will this interfere with our recording schedule? We're away for the next 6 weeks. We did a manual update a couple of months ago, so we may already be up-to-date.

    Foxy

I use FileZilla, one of the programs recommended in the Wiki. Works a treat generally, including with the 2000T.

    HDR-2000T or HDR-FOX T2?

That explains it. I had a 9300T for many years.

    HDR-2000T or HDR-FOX T2?

Ah. Well then I must have decided that broadcaster accurate recording was more beneficial than padding - which for me is still the case. Anyway, both machines were/are set the same. So either the broadcast signals have got more accurate or my T2 was slow to respond to them.

    HDR-2000T or HDR-FOX T2?

Although it's been a long time since I set up the T2, I think it is like-for-like. I say that because my recollection is that neither machine allows you to have both series recordings and padding, and I opted for the former.

    HDR-2000T or HDR-FOX T2?

I don't know why it should be so, but my T2 would often miss the first 30 seconds of a programme. My 2000T never seems to. That's a worthwhile improvement.

Another one having trouble with Wi-Fi connection

My Humax dongle connects quite happily using my router's 13 character key.

    New software available

I think he's talking about upgrading via USB, not via the internet.

    New software available

Mine is connected to the internet (YouTube runs fine) and is on standby every night. I've just looked and it still hasn't upgraded.
