Having owned both the Humax HDR T2 and the DTR-T1000 I would say yes. Although of course it depends what you are looking from it as mentioned above. I personally prefer the youview DTR T1000 as its a developing platform with new firmware updates regularly and interesting things in the pipeline...
Any youview box is designed to work with any broadband provider for catchup tv etc only the BT or talktalk portals are activated if you are with one of them. I bought a BT humax youview box recently of gumtree and I am with talktalk, the box works fine and has updated its firmware. I can even...
Yes I have the same problem with the EPGs for both freeview and Saorview. The only way I found to avoid missed recordings is set the recording manually, a bit of a pain but works thus far.
That page has been taken down as the Humax hasn't been officially supported by sky, as yet anyway and perhaps never.
Anyway you have to sign up at the Sky Go site - https://skyid.sky.com/signin/

Also the on demand on the sky player is no longer working, is the the same for other sky...
No it did after the 1.02.27 update was released, was able to watch Sky 1 programmes even though the Sky 1 channel wasn't avaliable live. Once the error 0803 started appearing the on demand stopped
I have found over the last week that it doesn't seem to work in the mornings but its fine in the evenings.
Can't get the on demand content to work though, I'm using 1.0.20 and cw 2.11 but not sure if 1.0.27 makes any difference?
