Ariel towards Stockland - have had aerial person out before said this was the best one. Have checked channel numbers and will try to moving box to TV in kitchen. Thanks for the suggestions will let you what happens when box is moved.
Ok I'm back and visitors have left so can now attempt to answer your questions. Just checked to see if TV was working and no - all channels (BBC1 and 2) scrambled again

Thanks for your suggestions - have managed to restore BBC1 and BBC2 but nothing else yet - at least that's a start. Sorry I put the question in the wrong section - just new to all of this. Will keep trying! help very much appreciated though
Since the awful weather last week we have been unable to use our Humax- message saying channels scrambled - so did a factory reset as advised by the support team previously (usually this works) this time it didn't. Weather calmer now but still we cannot access any channels at all - has anyone...
