Great, cheers - I'll look at installing that. Many thanks.

    Remote Standby from webif?

I might have missed this (so my apologies) but is it possible to remotely standby my Fox from the webif? eg. after I've watched something via the media file browser from a remote PC can I then put the Fox in standby? I know I can reboot the Fox remotely but I was hoping for a standby button too.

Channel 200 (BBC red button) at startup

disable-OTA updated to 1.02, switched the reminder back on, rebooted ... and it's put a reminder for the red button again so I'll switch it off again.

Channel 200 (BBC red button) at startup

I've just switched off the "create reminder to cover the OTA period" (I'm assuming that Humax aren't transmitting the update at the moment anyway?) and deleted all the above reminders so hopefully that's fixed the problem for now.

Channel 200 (BBC red button) at startup

Humph, I should've checked the schedule first - I just spotted these in the list... 200 BBC Red Button Disable OTA Wed 02 Apr 2014 04:20 00:20 200 BBC Red Button Disable OTA Wed 02 Apr 2014 04:20 00:20 200 BBC Red Button Disable OTA Wed 02 Apr 2014 04:20 00:20 200 BBC Red Button Disable OTA...

Channel 200 (BBC red button) at startup

Bit of a strange one this, for the last few days I've noticed that when I boot my Fox it starts at channel 200 (the BBC red button). This only happens if it's the first boot of the day so possibly something to do with the disable-ota? Is it possible either to stop this happening or maybe have...

    Downgrade successful :)

    New firmware Version 1.03.12 for HDR-FOX T2

I'm just about to try downgrading from 1.03.12 to 1.03.11/CFW2.22 - I'm guessing that as the OTA is still "live" my Fox will try to update itself to 1.03.12 again tomorrow morning so I'll need to install the disable-OTA?

    New firmware Version 1.03.12 for HDR-FOX T2

Many thanks for answering my question before I'd even asked it :) - my Fox upgraded itself this morning (I hadn't been keeping an eye on the forums and I didn't have the ota disabled) so I was wondering if it was possible to downgrade to 1.03.11/CFW until 1.03.12/CFW is available.

Failed Recording of New BBC Four HD Channel

A couple of programmes I recorded last night were fine (so maybe a bit premature) - I do wonder if this issue has been caused by something the BBC have been doing. The next time I get a zero seconds error I'm thinking of just unencrypting the file via webif and then removing the sidecars via a...

Webif: Trying to "update the package list from Internet"

Cheers for that. DNS lookups seem to be fine at the moment so I'll stick with Google, if it plays up again then I'll try changing it to the one you suggest. I used to have my Fox pointing at my broadband router but then VM had a bit of a funny spell a while back with their resolvers so I tried...

Webif: Trying to "update the package list from Internet"

Everything else is working fine (iPlayer, Youtube, telnet, webif)- very odd. I rebooted and everything is working again so I'm not sure what the problem was, possibly just a temporary hiccup with the DNS resolver (currently pointing at 8.8.8.8) that sorted itself out by the time it rebooted.

Failed Recording of New BBC Four HD Channel

The apparent randomness of the problem is a bit annoying. On Boxing Day I set my Fox to record Bluestone 42 (both at 22:00 and 2:25 just in case one failed) from BBC3HD and Never Mind The Baubles at 22:00 on BBC4HD. Both Bluestone 42s recorded, Never Mind The Baubles had the zero length problem...

Webif: Trying to "update the package list from Internet"

Any ideas what could be causing this error? hummypkg.org.uk seems fine via a PC browser so I'm stumped.
