Can the customised Foxsat act as a Client to stream from the 5000?

The Foxsat cannot stream external content without the required sidecar files that Raydons AV2HDR can create. As you have found the other way round is not possible. SD recordings can be copied to a PC and made playable as above.

    Using FVP-5000T with Slingbox

You are welcome should have also said it works with the 4000T remote. If that's on the slingbox virtual remote service go for that. I use the FVP-4000T device on my logitech Harmony as Logitech omitted the capability to switch modes on the 5000T device but included it on the 4000T device.

    Using FVP-5000T with Slingbox

The 5000T works with most Humax remote controls including the Foxsat-HDR, the HDR Fox-T2 the G2 Freesat boxes HDR-1000S, HDR1010S and the HDR-1100S.

Portable DVD drive in a usb port HDR Fox T2

If the vob's aren't encrypted there is loads of ways to combine them into a single file most anything can play. TSmuxer GUI can join these files into a single transport stream container.

no or bad signal or the channel is currently unavailable or scrambled on radio stations

Down to the BBC changing the Forward Error Correction settings on the HD channels. If your Foxsat is is left in sby overnight it should not have happened (this happens overnight). Do you put your Foxsat-HDR in sby overnight ?. If not the required update would not have updated the transponder...

    5000T 50hz lock

Since all UK transmissions are 50/25Hz based it's no surprise that the broadcom chip built in has not the capability to use 24Hz (which is the highest frame rate 1080p supported frame rate supported by blu-ray. . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blu-ray Of all the Kit I Have only the Netflix...

How do I replace internal hard drive

The Foxsat-HDR was designed to use Sata 2.0 drives, the latest Sata 3.0 drives have much faster data transfer speeds. The Hdr FOX-T2 is a much newer design so should work with the newer drives. If I remember correctly the HDR FOX T2 comes with a Seagate Pipeline Drive which doesn't have jumpers.

Two FoxT2s playing through the same TV displaying differently

The TV doesn't need to de-interlace when the source is Freeview-HD as it's already progressive. https://forums.digitalspy.com/post/quote/1783947/Comment_63553895

Two FoxT2s playing through the same TV displaying differently

Virtually all Freeview-HD is 1080p25. Your statement isn't correct. True there is no 1080p50 source but there is a progressive source. There is no broadcast source for 1080p50. Humax Freeview-HD boxes when set to output 1080p, frame double when handling 1080p25 as on a Freeview-HD source TV...
