Not quite sure where to post this but I have just tried to receive english audio for Eurosport at 13E but couldn't find it, does anybody know if the audio is still clear on this satellite.
Many thanks.
I have been able to record a freesat and non freesat programme at the same time this week, I think my non freesat recording has been first on but the freesat recording has worked too. The times my Eurosport recordings have failed no other programme has been set.
This week I have set various manual recordings for Eurosport on 19.2E, some have worked some have failed. I have the custom firmware and have added Eurosport into my freesat channels. I did a test recording this morning that worked, then this afternoons recording I had set appeared to be working...
Yes the correct way is how I had it set up. Tried the other out of interest. Anyway for now the wireless dongle approach seems to work and as my PC is right next to router there is no issue with the signal.
yes strange it appears the combination of computer and homeplugs causes a problem, but homeplugs work fine without the computer on, in the equation. I tried to have Fox plugged through on set of homeplugs into ethernet port 2 on the router and the Foxsat plugged through another set of homeplugs...
Yes, there appears to be guides on the internet on how to properly remove, will do it later. Strange not noticed any major changes in the PC, maybe wouldn't have stumbled accross it if it wasn't for my Humax issues! Think I will remove Java until or if I need it again, seems more trouble than...
A full scan with Kaspersky not so good, I have some Java exploit issues, Kaspersky says it has removed the threats but I don't know whether it's as easy as that!
PC is downstairs with a Homeplug connected to the router. The FOX is downstairs connected to a Homeplug. The Foxsat is upstairs also connected by a Homeplug. I have installed the Homeplug software and am able to monitor that the Homeplugs work. Which they do in normal operation like iplayer and...
Yes I have set the FOXSAT manually now. I have connected to the internet from my routers wireless connection using a Wireless adapter for the Pc, the FOX seemed to find the FOXSAT ok without the wired connection from router to Pc. A workaround for now rather than a fix.
Just reset to default settings. With the network set as DHCP my FOXSAT's DNS address started at 104.184.8.0 then changes every 30-60 seconds to another 104.***.8.0
Ok. I am afraid I am not sure whether it is outside the firewall it is not something I would have done intentionally or not and wouldn't know how to check.
If it has been hacked would I have expected more problems with the Foxsat itself?
Thanks for your ideas everyone.
