    [webif] Web Interface 1.4.x

Well, this was on my "backup" Humax, which I acquired, reformatted and reinstalled in January. I had noticed the discrepancy a month or so ago, but hadn't got round to chasing it up till yesterday. By which time, the PVR Media UI was listing 122 recordings and 6 folders, while the CF WebIf...

    [webif] Web Interface 1.4.x

Are there Release Notes for 1.4.x updates (specifically those since 1.4.6)? I had a problem on 1.4.6 (recordings missing from Webif Browse page) which seemed to resolve itself when I updated to 1.4.8-2, but it would be reassuring to discover it was something which had been explicitly fixed.

Mux 27 not viewable via pass-through connection to TV

Black cable as it happens, but indeed with plastic connectors, and with a big BUT, now I know what's going on, with excess cable on both RF and HDMI coiled together for tidiness! ... My assumptions about the effectiveness of shielding have been seriously challenged :) No longer!

Mux 27 not viewable via pass-through connection to TV

    Well, cycling through V-FORMAT was definitely instructive. TV1 on pass-through reported Signal Quality today on Muxs 21,22,24,25,27,28 respectively as ... at 576i - all at 100 at 576p - all at 100 at 720p - 100, 100, 100, 100, 40-90, 100 at 1080i - 100,100, 100, 100, 40-60, 100 at 1080p - 100...

Mux 27 not viewable via pass-through connection to TV

Over the last month or so, I've been getting increased disruption on some Freeview channels (such as 5 USA) when viewed or recorded later in the evening. I'm still trying to pin down the symptoms, and as a first step I replaced my aerial booster last week with a new one (Labgear LDA204LR), the...

    Web-IF interprets 5-day M-F recording as 6-day M-Sat recording

Have updated, and 5-day recordings now correctly reported. Thank you very much ! :)

    Web-IF interprets 5-day M-F recording as 6-day M-Sat recording

I have previously scheduled two 5-day (M-F) recordings via the Web-IF. The Web-IF now seems to be interpreting those as 6-day (Mon-Sat) recordings, and reporting apparent recording conflicts as a result. I added a further 5-day recording directly via the PVR's standard interface, and the Web-IF...

    Summer Time confusion

Ok, I've checked all the items on the RS report, and they now all seem to be as intended. I'm not sure if the conflict detection page as currently displayed is how you mean it to finish up, but if it is, it looks exceedingly useful. The only thing I've noticed is that the individual event bars...

    Summer Time confusion

Had a quick look, but have to dash out. Will look more closely this evening. First impressions are that it looks good, that the conflicts page (as currently shown) looks useful, not just for conflict resolution, but also for conflict avoidance, and that I notice that two recordings on at the...

    Summer Time confusion

Thanks. Note, I will be adding more scheduled events to the system later today. I'm assuming that doing so won't perturb the existing discrepancies.

    Summer Time confusion

Whoops, didn't see your msg until after I'd posted my previous reply. If I've read the page correctly my RS Identifier is 4251932388 . I was thinking about deleting and recreating the manual events to make sure they worked correctly, but since it looks like the PVR has got it right at least...

    Summer Time confusion

Having spent over 30 years diagnosing other people's computer problems, I am well aware of the inadequacy of a problem report of the form "it's not working" and thought I had avoided that failing. I am well aware that the software is a complex home-brew set of products, but am nevertheless...

    Summer Time confusion

Ok. We've just moved onto BST from GMT. And I wasn't surprised to see some discrepancies in the Web-If's list of scheduled events, specifically in the timings shown for manually entered repeated events, including an Auto-Update event listed as occuring at 05:30 rather than 04:30. So I thought...

What does ENC mean on my SD recording?

Well the files had the Indexed on DLNA icon, and the PVR certainly went through stand-by overnight (is that what you meant by stand-by / power-up cycle ?) , but the DLNA client still didn't pick them up. However, resetting the DLNA database did the trick.

What does ENC mean on my SD recording?

I've run hmt -protect and that's cleared the Enc icon on both the PVR's and the web-if's Media Lists. My DLNA client (VLC) still doesn't see the two affected titles, but I suspect that's just a case of waiting for the DLNA db to update itself. Or will I need to Reset DLNA Database? Still don't...
