    Are any of the DTR series reliable?

    My point is not so much about branding (though the first thing I did notice after the update was the BT symbol) - what I really object to is the fact that the interface was completely redesigned without my having a choice to say no thanks. It's a bit like MS forcing out W10 on W7 users...

    Daft question alert - is there any way to revert the firmware to pre-BT-Youview update - I thought I'd bought a Humax box not a BT box :-(

    possible work around for no sound issue?

    Any update to this - I have a DTR-T2000 and a HDR-1800T both have worked flawlessly with a 7 year old Sony TV (which has subsequently died) I'm temporarily using a Samsung TV and find there is no sound from the TV if the HDR-1800T is switched on before the TV. (It's not exhibited this problem...
