I only keep the ts files on my NAS but play them back on XBMC which can decode the 5.1 AAC and output PCM in full surround.

Plex can stream ts files with no problems to a NowTV. I don't know if it's transcoding or not though.

I get the same when trying to schedule anything on my iPhone using RS, even HD. I also don't get the option to record a series. I have not changed anything as far as I know, although it might be an automatic update?

I use the download function of WebIf to archive recordings onto my NAS. At the moment this involves me downloading them to my Mac, and then copying them onto the NAS. Thanks again all. I worked out why I wasn't getting surround after transferring to my computer. I use a Raspberry Pi with XBMC and this decodes multi-channel AAC as stereo :(

I have also been experiencing the failed decrypting issue with an episode of 'Once Upon a Time' on Channel 5. I have also seen many recordings fail with the 'power loss' message too (not confined to this show or channel). I don't know if there is any connection. I shall upgrade everything...

This is on an HDR. I also have Twonky running on a QNAP NAS. I installed MediaTomb so I could stream direct to my iPhone but it doesn't work so I guess I can uninstall it. I shall also try unplugging the network. Thanks for the fast and helpful replies.
