Hi My refurbished FVP-4000T arrived from Humax Direct yesterday and installed this morning. Everything appeared to be working OK until I tried to switch to one of the HD channels and it reported there was no signal. Checked the signal strength and it is showing 100% Signal and Quality on tuner...

Odd thing here that it has been working fine for more than a year, as so many are reporting this problem I am wondering if the Humax server has changed IP address..

Problem solved! For some reason my WiFi HotSpot had an invalid DNS IP address which the Humax box had aquired, changed that and it works fine. All my other devices had the correct DNS address locked in.

Well I learn something new every day! I didn't realise that all on-demand used Humax servers, I thought that BBC Iplayer etc. all connected direct to relevant broadcaster.

I have just upgraded from a Foxsat HDR to the HDR 1000s and wanted to retain most of the recordings on the Foxsat. Easiest way I have found is to remove the HD from the Foxsat and mount it in and external HD dock with USB output and plug in the front USB socket on the 1000s. The 1000s detected...
