I know that setting the box output to 4k means the box "should" output in 4k, apologies for figuring that out but im happy if you don't follow this thread.

Well a couple of tests myself show that the TV itself defaults to HDR 4K, for Roku stick the picture defaults to HDR 4K, the Auro defaults to std definition and only upscales when processing a 4k source. Which explains everything. This is even more bizarre because the Auro picture is set to...

Well I'm comparing Roku 4k stick with aura inputs side by side on the same page and the aura definitely has a video fault. It's just more noticeable in iPlayer home page which is quite simply "blurred" on a 58 4k screen, tried all the video settings but nothing cures it until I set it at 1080p...

Bizarrely I switched Aura down from 4 k to 1080 and the picture is clearer

Have you got 4k TV? after switching between aura and Roku, the Auro has a very clear video fault. Even my wife can see it

Anyone using Humax digital to digital/analogue converter to analogue amp, and does the volume control the output level? I have analogue amp and humax 5000 has analogue audio out, straight into my amp, and volume controls output

So rather than use the Aura built-in volume control, you programmed the Aura remote volume to operate your amp?

I would just remove the drive. Switch cleaner. Refit. Mine HDD started playing up, just got worse and worse until I replaced it

Humax are still selling this when half of the streaming services featured, no longer work? It's that even legal?
