I bought my first VCR in 1979! An NEC equivalent of the Sony SL-8000 (yes, Betamax, and I've still got some tapes!).
Programming this thing involved lying on the floor (like Sandholme) but the timer could only be set in 15 minute intervals and there was a limit of 3 programmes that could be...
I agree that Video Redo is good. I've tried several DVD authoring applications and this is by far the easiest to use. When you've made your edits save it as a "project" and, if necessary, you can go make and fine tune it as many times as you like. It also has a very nice option to alter the...
Yes, thanks for the clarification. I would like an "original" setting so that I don't have to keep switching the Fox manually in order to avoid the slightly fuzzy 576i picture when it's upsclaed to 1080i i fyou have the Fox set to 1080i.
OK, I've just spent nearly an hour staring at a blank TV in order to document the natutal history of my SCART problem!
To recap:
1) The Fox is connected to the TV (Sony KDL-32W4000) by SCART
2) I've scheduled the Fox to record a programme at a given time
3) I'm watching something on the TV; the...

I'll do a number of tests and see what happens.
Thanks for your interest.
I agree that we need to raise the profile of this site.
I support RedEarth that we need to find ways of getting Google searches for "Hummy" to point to us.
The question is "how?".
Agree with all the above.
I miss hummy.org.uk so perhaps this is its successor.
What can we do to ensure that Humax know we exist and are aware of what we feel should be included in future updates?
I would love a way of maintaining the transmitted resolution. By this I mean that if you tune the Fox into an HD channel then it automatically outputs to the TV in HD (ie 1080i). On the other hand if you tune into an SD channel then the output is automatically 576i.
There should be the...
I've just moved from a 9200T to the HDR Fox T2.
My major problem is that when the Fox is connected to my TV (Sony KDL-32W4000) by SCART I suffer a picture blackout when the Fox wakes up 15 minutes or so before a scheduled recording. I had this with the 9200T but it only lasted a few seconds...
