Awesome! I'd offer to help but wouldn't know where to begin. Thanks for all your work on it.

Remote Scheduling for Foxsat-HDR Now Available

I love the Remote Scheduling portal - it's by far the easiest way to add recordings. However, now that Channel 4 HD is only available as a non-freesat channel I don't think RS can be used for that channel. Even though I've made the channel available in freesat mode it doesn't seem to be...

Channel 4 HD Leaving Freesat Thu 22 Feb 2018!

As I say - I can manually set the title either when setting the event with WebIF or after - so it's not a big deal. But obviously the "superfoods" listing is stored somewhere in the box. I was just wondering if there was a way to telnet in and change it.

Channel 4 HD Leaving Freesat Thu 22 Feb 2018!

One more request: any manual C4HD recordings I make on the box are labelled as "Superfoods" - presumably that was the last ever item on the C4HD EPG. Is there any way to clear that from the box (without doing anything drastic like a factory reset)? I'd rather the recordings appeared with a...

Wow - that's one very handy bit of software. Thanks for the tip.

Just had a look via ftp and the C4HD recordings do have .hmt files but presumably they're missing some information which convertfiles needs?

Channel 4 HD Leaving Freesat Thu 22 Feb 2018!

I've tried streaming to my Raspberry Pi and it does indeed play the correct one so it's not a big deal. Just that if I transfer the file it still has the AR track in position 1. So would be nice to get convertfiles to work but isn't a deal-breaker. Is there a way to get convertfiles to work...

Channel 4 HD Leaving Freesat Thu 22 Feb 2018!

Getting back to topic, recording seems to be working fine and managed to record C4HD and BBC1HD at the same time no problems (using a manual event). Two minor inconveniences: - The resulting file can't be converted with the convertfiles plug in (says missing .htm file). Any way round this? - My...

Channel 4 HD Leaving Freesat Thu 22 Feb 2018!

No worries!! All I know is I'm very happy with my customised FoxSat - it's great just being able to record in HD and not having to worry about encryption (or unencryption or decryption or any type of cryption)!

Is there any way the CF could be modified so that when it detects a clash it warns you, but gives you the option (at your own risk) to proceed anyway?

That's fine. The only non-freesat channel I can ever imagine recording is C4HD. The most common clash is BBC1 or 2 HD with C4HD. It works fine if I manually set the C4 event on the box. Would be easier to use the webif or RS portal.

I In the WebIf I've set Feeds to 1. In the RS Plug in set to 1 looped. I have a single LNB dish.

Do you mean edit using the webif? On my system the edit option is always greyed out. Any idea why?

True - but that doesn't matter with the Foxsat as long as you install the patch straight away. In fact I prefer the way it works on the Foxsat that recording are never encrypted. As I understand it, on the T2 recordings are initially encrypted but then get unencrypted. For scheduling C4HD I've...

Channel 4 HD Leaving Freesat Thu 22 Feb 2018!

I don't tend to use Favourites much - but I've tried adding C4HD and will see what happens after housekeeping. With the custom firmware it actually doesn't seem to matter too much about C4HD not being on freesat. And if the RS portal can be modified to set recordings for it then it'll be even...
