    It is an old 250Gb Maxtor drive. Just keeps asking to reformat it to EXT3 or FAT16/32, but cant see the option within the humax (foxsat HDR)

    This may sound silly, but where is the function to format an external drive via the Humax? (can only see option to format internal drive) At moment the humax is refusing to see the external drive (says it is wrong format), and my pc only formats to exFAT or NTFS
