But her tv hasn't got an HDMI input. Maybe simplest is to take the tv back saying it doesn't work on a SCART input and buy another tv with HDMI. Double benefit of HD pic as well!

@mikesh.... I've not spotted anyone having a failed recording if they watch first, then red button, and subsequently record on AR on the same channel. Mine has certainly been reliable.

I tried just watching but it didn't enable recording. Instant recording was also required to embed whatever it is that needs embedding.

@mihaid..... I think it's because they are interested in finding out why it's happening. Humax seem to be taking their time producing a reason and/or a fix though!
