    [webif-channelicons]

The issue is client side - the Humax (both) has the new icons confirmed working- That was on my laptop; when I booted my tower PC the new icons are showing without intervention, likewise on Edge for Android (mobile phone). I'll investigate the laptop later today.

I did as instructed press ctrl-f5 but that might not be the correct combination for Edge on Windows 10 - I'm afk so it awaits my return to experiment further.

For a long time I've thought that the icons weren't being maintained, or my HDR had an issue. Most icons are correctly shown, but many minor services are blank. I figured it was a naming issue, or due to channel LCN reorganisation. I've just force-updated webif-channelicons from 1.1.31 to 1.2.0...

    HDR-FOX T2 HDD swap with T1000 ?

OK. (From a laptop not in the same room as the HDR) Webif>Diag>Maintenance Mode>Enable. Reboot System>Restart the Humax now. Access Telnet Menu. (New tab opens) System PIN entered. fixdisk<enter> Well looks like it was a first-run fluke - I didn't get that (or any) response before. Choosing...

    HDR-FOX T2 HDD swap with T1000 ?

I'm having trouble running it. The Wiki explains how to use fix-disk as included in CF 2.xx As I have CF 3.13, fix-disk is now added as a package. I've done the 'restart in maintenance mode' which elicits the telnet mode menu. But typing any of the options - fixdisk, short, long, gives no...

    HDR-FOX T2 HDD swap with T1000 ?

Update. Since stopping the processing of the particular file that was causing the disc re-reads (that slowed response and increased temperature), normal service has resumed. Yesterday I updated the firmware of both HDRs to 3.13 and have installed fix-disk. I intend to run fix-disk but am unsure...

    HDR-FOX T2 HDD swap with T1000 ?

fix-disk wasn't installed. Requires CF3.10; currently on CF3.03. Further intervention required, ie. sorting a suitable thumb-drive etc. Temp settled at 51º

    HDR-FOX T2 HDD swap with T1000 ?

With this setting, the fan runs at 40% even if the temperature falls below 49º? Would it be pertinent to also swap the fans over (assuming compatible)? Edit: It's currently dual (HD) recording and the temp value after setting min=40% has just dropped 1º Further improvement - still dual recording:

    HDR-FOX T2 HDD swap with T1000 ?

Would you believe fan wasn't installed! Now installed but settings not changed. I've never instigated disk maintenance! Thank-you. After power-cycling I managed to remove the offending recording from the processing queue and thus far response seems normal.

Just power cycled the T2 and got the HDD report:

    HDR-FOX T2 HDD swap with T1000 ?

In the home are two T2s, one in the lounge and one in the 'AV' bedroom. The lounge one is low use timeshifting and archive source for general interest, documentary and music programmes. The bedroom one is high use for archiving movies, music programmes and entertainment series. Also I spent £20...

    Custom Firmware Weirdness. Absolutely stumped.

The HDRs aren't intended for long-term storage, and as the OP's was come by cheap, shouldn't be relied on for such. In his position, I'd leave the 500GB drive installed, package a suitable 1TB drive in a USB enclosure and attach externally to supplement the storage/archive programmes in a way...

Oops. Missed that detail buried in a later post. Yes, try without the splitter - SkyQ HDMI straight to DVB-T modulator.

    No matching key for decryption

Thanks, I did notice those clarified in earlier posts ;) It may (or may not) be like most TVs' (major-name brands) record-to-USB function, where not only is the storage device format and filesystem (partition) not readable on a computing device, but also the files are encrypted to only playback...

Have you access to any other device that does have HDMI-out? A Blu-Ray player, or a modern upscaling DVD player, or a tablet, phone, or media streamer? That could prove the new modulator behaves in the same way as the old one. Put more succinctly than my wording.
