Do I have to press and hold the PVR button, if so for how long do you reckon? The new remote looks exactly like the one that came with the Humax when I bought it new, and I have put new batteries into it.

I have bought a new remote for my YouView box but I don't know how to register it with the Humax. I have tried holding the PVR button down, but this just flashes all of the time. Well I have uninstalled all of the updates from after I last had the PVR9200T connected up and could download recordings, but the error message still comes up, so I am stuck now.

I have uninstalled the updates for windows from after the date I last used the PVR successfully, but none of them seem to have been the cause. There are quite a few updates related to MS Office, but I yse that a lot and am not happy about removing updates for that, but I will if I really have to.
