Sorry for the wooly explanation, I was overwhelmed by the number of errors in the processing queue, decrypt tasks were coming up with already decrypted, which made me think that Sweeper was adding them to the queue more than once and the other was "TS file not found" for the audio extract tasks...
A couple of days in a few problems observed, possibly due to the way that sweeper is adding stuff to the auto processing Q, possibly duplicating entries. Hopefully, I've worked around them by adding extra tests in the rules to Sweeper so it doesn't try to add the programs to the Q a second time...
Installed the beta package and set up the new rules (a copy of your example) and it works perfectly. All actions now done by Sweeper.
Once again, many thanks for your help prpr.
Wow! thanks for all the feedback. I'll try Webif 1.5.4 and try adding the "queue recording for" with the "decrypt" and "mp3 -del" options rules and remove the decrypt and auto-audio flags from the directory so the commands are added to the background queue and thus guaranteed to run...
This seems to work but as the decrypt and auto-audio are processed in the background queue and Sweeper seems to be an aynchronous background task, I'm worried that Sweeper will try to delete the original recording before the mp3 file creation is completed. I've added the Age condition which I...
Just started using Sweeper and I'm using it to process recorded radio programs to add the synopsis to the file name and then move to a folder with the decrypt and auto audio flags set to create an MP3 (Mp2 with an MP3 wrapper) for a smaller download.
This works fine but now I want to remove the...
Thanks Dearleuk.
I have completed the transfer from a Win 10 PC to a new Win 11 PC without too many problems (all of my own making!).
I copied the DvrOnTime.mdf and DvrOnTime_log.ldf files to the new PC and briefly tested before doing the final update to 1.0.7. I forgot to change the...
I'm setting up a Windows 11 PC to run DVROnTime to replace the Windows 10 one that has started restarting itself at random times (the Windows event log says kernel power failure).
I have a new (well secondhand PC running Windows 11) PC that I am setting up to run my 24/7 Home Theatre stuff...
Yes, in my rush to test it out, I forgot that. I also had a vague idea that NAT loopback would work as that's the way I normally test stuff like port forwarding.
Thanks for all your help.
I thought it would be difficult to implement after reading through the OpenVPN documents with all the different permutations available.
Hoping I didn't need to roll my own, I followed the Netgear VPN setup instructions to download the Netgear generated configurations for OpenVPN, from the...
Thanks Dino,
I'll have a go at setting up my router to use it's built-in VPN.
Thanks MYMsMan,
I've just got rid of NordVPN and have Netgear's version of Bitdefender (Armor) running on the router and individual PCs which includes VPN but no Meshnet equivalent.
Thanks Dino,
Yes, my Netgear Orbi router supports VPN and uses OpenVPN for clients.
Can I ask some simple questions regarding use of a VPN to securely access the web interface of the HDRFOX-T2?
When connecting using a VPN to my router how would I connect to the HDRFOX-T2? In the current setup...
Thanks everyone for your help. I'll look into the VPN option. I have VPN available on my laptop (Netgear/Bitdefender VPN) but again my knowledge fails me here. Using VPN on my laptop is AFAIK "single ended" to enable encyption of the data on an unsecure wi-fi connection to stop local snooping. I...
