I wish we had done the same instead of limping along with it and following advice from Humax. Had it over a year now and it drives us nuts.

We regret ever buying the 5000T, We have had so many issues with it that I wouldn't know where to begin, I've contacted Humax many times and I'm sick of retuning and resetting it, sick of the loud buzzing we get ect ect ..... Worst box we've ever had.

Does anyone else have a problem with Channel 68, Tru tv? I never had a problem with my old box but on the 5000T it breaks up and loses reception, it's unwatchable. Any ideas please?

Yes it most likely does, we prefer that to the bars either side though. Hawkeye looks just as yummy with a little of his head cut off ;)

I think you're right BH, It must have been set to to zoom but we had it for such a long time that we never changed anything on it for years, it just worked how we wanted it and I didn't give any more thought to the settings once done. I have set the 5000T to zoom now and it looks fine on the...

Actually it looked fine with the old T2, unless we just got used to how it looked. I would have stuck with it longer until it completely died but it was getting very contrary :)

Ok thank you... I never had this with the old T2 though so it seems odd, programs like M*A*S*H on channel 61 filled always filled the screen before now it doesn't.

No I had it on 16.9 and I tried all the other sizes one by one and still had the same issue.

Hi all, Sorry if this has been covered but I can't find the answer. When watching some channels on my Samsung TV there are black lines either at the side or top and bottom. We're watching in 16.9, I have tried other screen sizes such as Custom fit but it's still the same. This didn't happen...

No nothing special, it worked though.

First I tried disconnecting it from my wifi, no luck, then I just turned the box off and on again, still no luck. Lastly I pulled out the plug from the power socket and waited 10 or 15 seconds before putting it back in and bingo it worked :)
