Proposed method of auto-decryption on HDR-2000T

Update time... After using the utility for a while I've begun to notice problems. StDef recordings are fine but HiDef content is another matter entirely. The file structure of HiDef material is corrupted, which nearly always causes my editing software to crash and makes it nigh-on impossible to...

Proposed method of auto-decryption on HDR-2000T

Ok but after running the script, I'm able to export my HiDef recordings directly (without any further external processing) to an external drive where they can be archived or edited. A massive improvement over having to bounce things back and forth through FileZilla and HumaxUnEnc.

    Hello all... Help needed?

I took the plunge into Humax land with a 2nd hand T2000 and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Proposed method of auto-decryption on HDR-2000T

Hi Charlie, I didn't even know about your replies till now because the e-mail notification never occurred! :( I ran the app by (as usual) selecting Show Package Contents and then navigating to Scripts, where I then ran 3dc.sh from the Terminal.... Success! It takes a while but all the...

Proposed method of auto-decryption on HDR-2000T

I don't get that. If I attempt to open the 3DC "Enc" icon, I receive... I have to select "Show Package Contents" and then navigate to the Mac OS X folder, drag the applet into Terminal and then I receive the same error message as before but this time within the Humax Encryption Flag Reset...

Attempts at editing HiDef content produces audio sync glitches

Just to update this thread with some good news: I've received help with a solution that doesn't involve using Windows or paying for additional software. Download and copy FFMPEG into your usr/local/bin directory, full instructions available here. From the Terminal, CD to wherever the .TS file...

    Wrong 4x3 on 2000T

As an owner of a 50" plasma, watching it with my nose "4' away" does not make for a great viewing experience. :)

Still doesn't work me. When I right-click, the options available are to open it with Xcode, Excel, Textedit and Word. I've dragged humax.sh into the Terminal window and after a pause, it reports, "rm: Temp: No such file or directory."

Proposed method of auto-decryption on HDR-2000T

Doesn't work for me, even after moving it to the Applications folder. A window opens and displays the script code, that's it. Edited to add: I have another Intel Mac with Snow Leopard. I'll try it on that and see what happens.

Proposed method of auto-decryption on HDR-2000T

Thanks, success! (still reports the error message but I'm able to navigate to Contents/Resources) I can see Humax.sh but how do I run it, with Xcode?

Proposed method of auto-decryption on HDR-2000T

Hi Charlie, I'm on Mavericks (10.9.5) and I'm using Safari. Just now, I made another attempt and met the same outcome as before. I tried "Show Package Contents" but that also leads to the error message as well.

I've downloaded 3DC several times and I'm always presented with the message, "3DC is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash."
