Currently use Humax:
HDR-1800T (2 TB) used for Recording Series & has DLNA enabled.
HDR-2000T (2 TB) used for Recording Movies (SD and HD) & has DLNA enabled.
FVP-5000T (2 TB) plus 2 external USB hdd of 2 TB each formatted NTFS giving 6 TB in total used for storing the Categorized Movie collection and has DLNA enabled, not used for recording, but used for streaming the TV channels to an H3 in the other room.
H3 for watching TV channels streamed from the FVP-5000T and programme content from the DLNA servers.
Note: The hdd's in each of the receivers has been upgraded from 500 GB (HDR-2000T & FVP-5000T) and 320 GB (HDR-1800T) to 2 TB as I found the originals too small.

The LG TV 43LH590V has a search facility which does search the DLNA servers too. Finding something to watch is easy by title, year or category.

All the above are networked by Ethernet cables over Giga bit network and 2 powerline adapters (Wi-fi is not reliable enough to cope with the amount of data throughput).

Categorizing a movie:
Filename is the <Film title> <Year> <=categories A-Z> <=HD optional>
Example: Star Wars Episode 5 - The Empire Strikes Back 1980 =A=V=Y=HD.ts
=A Action, =V Adventure, =Y Fantasy & =HD High Definition. The category is searchable from the client on the LG Television.
The year and category information from IMDB.com is used.
