    Another possible, easy and cheap way of connecting is to use a wireless adapter in station mode. I use an Edimax EW-7206APg on my FoxsatHD quite successfully. Not much over £20. A trifle fiddly to configure, but it works well, and has the advantage of acting as a wireless repeater/range...
