My system includes the network and all equipment connected to it, including the hummy. As I said in my original post, my hummy was working fine before I went on holiday but whilst away something happened to it as I lost remote access. Now that I have upgraded to 3.13, all is working well...

Have installed 3.13 and all appears to be back to normal. This is very strange as I never experienced any problems with 3.12 until this behaviour. Thanks again for those who tried to help and particularly to prpr for directing me to the latest build.
Just read the release notes on 3.13 and it explains exactly what has been happening to my hummy. Why didn't I look at this before??? Anyway, am now looking to download and install. I'll report back once complete. Many thanks for your patience and my apologies for my ignorance. :)
Thanks. I actually found cli (didn't look closely enough at the options for which I apologise). See my previous about access to telnet. I can only access for a short time then blocked for some reason. I will look to install 3.13. You never know, it might just solve everything (I hope).
My apologies for my ignorance. I can initially access telnet then when the system resettles telnet no longer accesses the hummy and no idea why. I also missed the cli option which caused me confusion in the first instance. I am now attempting to provide the information previously requested...

Makes sense, I suppose, except for the fact that my recording schedule was not empty. Perhaps I should re-install all packages? Also can't understand why, when I try to check for updates, I am told that I have no internet access so can't update via webif.

Should also mention that the hummy does record scheduled programmes. It's just at startup, it always reboots (consistently after 70 seconds) then appears to settle. Once it has re-started for a few minutes then all works correctly.
