Tried to reset my password to see if that helped by selecting the forgotten password button.. Well, Humax managed to send a reset password email, but the link in the email just takes you to a page where you can tell Humax you have forgotten your password (again). Nowhere to enter a new password...

Not sure where to post this, but as I have a 2000T it's here: When I try to logon at www myhumax net I get a "Internal Server Error". Obviously my day for breaking anything Humax. (dots removed from URLs)

Whenever I try to start the Humax Portal I get the message "Humax stb only!". From what I've read this happens from time to time and fixes itself after a day or two. The portal isn't much good anyway, the only things of use are iPlayer and YouTube; but still not impressed.

Thanks Ezra, you may well be right. I did email Humax Support, and they didn't seem to know about any restriction on devices. But like I said, you may well be right.

I'm trying to use the Humax remote App on my Samsung Note 10.1. All I get is a message saying that "both devices should be connected to the same wireless router". Which they are. And then "No device is detected". Is there some setting on the Humax that I'm missing? Has anybody else had the same...

Well, I just tried again and got the activation email straight away. :)

Hi Chris, I've emailed the address the website gives for if you don't get an email; no reply from that either. Humax customer support have emailed to say "...the website, it is still under construction so lots of it doesn't yet work correctly. It should be fully functional later this year"

I'm trying to register at myhumax.net but have not received an activation email from them. Has anyone else tried tried to register in the last 24 hours? And did you get an email or not? Incidentally, trying to use a 'strong' password caused the website to hang. Thanks

Just to wrap this up. The problem was resolved by replacing the aerial amplifier in the loft. Thanks to HB and BH for their help, and yes I did work out how to use the manual tune panel.

Hi Harvey, I set it to the T2 tuner, and tried the frequency it came up with and the frequency given on Winter Hill Wikipedia page, but there was still no signal detected. I'll try again later, maybe something will have warmed up by then.

Installing from new, I did an Automatic search. The 2000T found all the expected SD channels and radio, but no HD channels. Doing a manual search on the HD mux (channel 54- on Winter Hill) found no signal at all. I hope I'm doing something simple wrong? Can anyone suggest what it is?

So, if I set recordings in advance, choose the USB drive carefully and format it correctly, I should have no problems ;) I plan to let the internal drive fill up, then attach a USB drive and offload some recordings to make space on the internal drive.
