My HDR-FOX T2 Ser: 63710495201221 Purchased new in Oct 2011. This unit regularly froze and shut down, with the HDD overheating especially in warmer weather and with no evidence of the cooling fan kicking in. I finally contacted Humax support last week, who sent a replacement unit. Very impressed...

To be honest Iv'e had so many Green screens, twitches, freezes and shut downs of late I had to give it a go.
I am not a Techy but I will let you know how it goes.

Thank you, I have not found a setting in the T2 for aerial power, if I have missed it should it be on or off ?. I have no external aerial power, I have also checked and re-done the coax plug previously.
I did notice the channel signal strength 54%-62% .
