Power Off Timer in Standby = boot to Half-Awake (and stay there)

By the way, one thing I've found with the LED light connected to the front USB port, is that on boot, the light comes on bright, then quickly dims briefly, then comes on bright again. So the 5V power supply appears to be collapsing on start up. Not sure if that's a standard feature, or whether...

Power Off Timer in Standby = boot to Half-Awake (and stay there)

A problem I found with using a manually set reminder (from 17:30 to 23:00), was that it appeared to "bag" a tuner. So e.g. in the RS, I got warnings about conflicts if I had two recordings scheduled that overlapped with the reminder. (I confess, I didn't wait to see what actually got recorded)...

Power Off Timer in Standby = boot to Half-Awake (and stay there)

Yes, that is what I am seeing, and it is completely repeatable (at least for me): set Power On/Off Timers (e.g. to turn on in 15 minutes time, and turn off in 45 minutes time); place unit in STANDBY (using power button on remote control); wait for Power On Timer to boot unit to ON; before Power...

Power Off Timer in Standby = boot to Half-Awake (and stay there)

I’ve been trying to work out why my HDR-FOX T2 has been “running” when I’d expect it to be in Standby. (Where “running” = WebIf diagnostics show fan has been active; unexpected timestamps in Remote Scheduling; timestamps in activity.log; etc). I’ve had Power On/Off timers set to 17:30 and 23:00...

[CFW 3.13] Customised Firmware v3.13 released.

I don’t want to be bothersome if a more comprehensive fix is imminent, but would it be possible to update the permission(s) on the ‘System Flush Update File’ (link http://hpkg.tv/rpc/cfwget.html?file=HDRFLUSH) so that I can download it? (At the moment, even signed in to Google Drive, none of the...

Hi Black Hole, when you say "I'm getting the same thing..." do you mean the same as me, or the same as Brian?(!)

[CFW 3.13] Customised Firmware v3.13 released.

I'll try Chrome on my work laptop tomorrow. Though I won't be able to get the file off there (if it works) due to it being locked down, its a least a different PC with different Sys Admin(!) to try. Humpf: That's not going to work, since my work laptop is blocked from accessing Google Drive for...

[CFW 3.13] Customised Firmware v3.13 released.

Chrome behaves exactly the same for me. (Whether Windows 10 or Android). Once logged in to Google Drive, either clicking on the link directly, or copying it (with "right click-> copy link address", then "+" for a new tab, then "right click-> paste in search / URL bar") results in:

I am trying to download HDR_FOX_T2_1.02.32_mod_3.13.zip (link http://hpkg.tv/rpc/cfwget.html?file=HDR_FOX_T2_1.02.32_mod_3.13.zip) to update from my current 3.12. Whether I click on the link directly, or copy and paste the link, I get to a Google Drive sign-in page. If I sign in to Google Drive...

    Fix-disk didn't fix disk errors 197 / 198 / sda1 - Unrecognised partition type

MontysEvilTwin, in case it helps : I've just checked my saved Putty logs, and I can see that re-formatting the disk via the Humax's menu, without having done a secure erase, does not result in 4k alignment. Before the secure erase, I guess its just reformating, and not re-partitioning as well...
