FVP4000T - Problems with guide?
Following my previous thread, my parents are now using their new 4000T but they have run into a bit of a problem. They keep finding that when they are in the guide, if they move up or down to see what is on other channels, rather than the guide changing/moving, it's almost like ti's overlaying...- valve90210

FVP-4000T Powersupply (and possibly remote) needed
As luck qwould have it, my mother ended up contacting Humax direct and they kindly sent her out a power supply and remote for nothing! :)- valve90210

Hi All I managed to pick up an ex-demonstration 1TB FVP-4000T for a bargain price the other day, the only problem with it being that it didn't come with either a remote or power supply. Now, the remote isn't too much of a problem as it'll be being used with a Harmony remote anyway. However...- valve90210

Nah, I meant Ad detection, at present I can manually add a sweeper rule to individual folders (it's one of the presets within sweeper) but I was hoping to be able to be able to have it set automatically when the humax creates a new folder for a series recording. Help - it won't record from standby
Sorry for the thread necro but I've just started suffering this same problem with my old hummy. Interestingly it seems to be a intermittent and tends to occur when the temperature increases, on cooler days I get my standby clock again. Going to try to open it up and clean it this weekend and...- valve90210

Yeah it all seemed to be working this morning (should have mentioned that when I posted earlier, not really with it today). Yesterday I was able to get the time bar come up by pressing something (possibly stop?) which showed that there was no buffer available, if that makes any difference as to...- valve90210

Ran the fix disk and then re ran the disk diagnostic this morning and from my bleary eyed inspection I think everything was the same as before the fix disk. Don't if that means anything. Hi All Noticed this evening that I couldn't rewind live tv, I tried pausing and that didn't work either, so I ran the disk diagnostics and got the following... Hi all I'm contemplating getting a second Hummy for my bedroom and have been looking on ebay for a bargain. A lot of the time it's not possible to tell (without asking for photos) which version is being sold (ie horizontal or vertical tuners). It's been a while since I read much about the...- valve90210

Just updated my packages and now I can't access the webif, hadn't realised box was recording when I hit update, is it likely that the failure to connect is because box needs a full power cycle?- valve90210

Actually, seem to be having the problem again, this time after I tried to update my packages. I got an internal server error and when I tried reloading a page it got the connection refused error again and I can't get back into the hummy again- valve90210
