How Do I Remove A Rogue File Preventing A Series Recording?
Thanks BH. Pardon the ignorance, but how exactly do I create the command line. Not done it before. I think this file is a rogue. It appears among the root directory recordings in the file editor rather than with other series folders. Also, I don’t think it is being recreated in the way you...- lancer

Slow 'Processing'...Any Thoughts?
I didn’t, as the disc had been used for several years and had appeared to be getting ‘weary’, in various respects, in recent times before the slow processing issue started.- lancer

How Do I Remove A Rogue File Preventing A Series Recording?
Using the file editor under the diagnostics function in cf, I have discovered there is a rogue series file that appears under .series that is not visible under the media/video list in either cf or on the box itself I believe this entry is preventing the series in question from being recorded...- lancer

What is This Curious .thm Duplicate?!
An update, in case it helps explain the odd behaviour. Last night I deleted the Father Brown.thm sub file containing the Pointless episode and it moved to the ‘Deleted’ folder for later deletion. The Father Brown episode itself remained in the Father Brown folder. I also deleted the Pointless...- lancer

Seagate Skyhawk 2TB - Install and CF
Got a new 2TB Skyhawk coming and looking at various posts it seems that the standard box will format this drive automatically. Does this also apply with the CF (latest version) installed? And will the CF still be there after formatting the new drive or do I have to re-load it all?- lancer

In the last week or two, when in the recorded programmes folder list, the unit has been showing 'processing' on screen when moving between items for much longer than previously (several seconds the norm, sometimes a little longer). Did your problems with the channel recordings (e.g. BBC4) happen after doing a re-tune by any chance? Re. the issue where it says 'recording failed' but the recording's there, this can happen when the T2 misses the very start of the AR scheduled start time because other recordings have not yet...- lancer
