EE TV app and DTR-T2000

HD live picture break up now HD mux is on offset channel
Tuner offset will be well inside any Automatic Frequency Correction (AFC) circuitry within the bought-in tuner blocks that the -T2 uses. The number displayed will just be a limitation due to some lookup table within the software Humax wrote for the display of it. NB Offsets are +/- 167 MHz...- Rodders53

DTR-T2000 Sound just cuts out during live TV
More info needed. Which TV channels? All or some? Does changing TV channel correct the sound problem? Or not? (Try a variety of TV channels, HD and SD ones). Are recorded programmes affected? Have you tried a mains power down, pull plug, wait 5 minutes and then back on? (Is your turn...- Rodders53

I have no absolute faith that Q of 100% on any humax = zero (uncorrectable?) errors. On Foxsat-HDR the Q can be less than 100 with no obvious artefacts seen. OPs Sony was reporting received errors, but all were correctable, on a different outlet/cable. So it is a bit of a mystery... without...- Rodders53

So fitting the filter (should have) ruled out 5G / 4G interference. EDIT Therefore it's probably not needed. But you now have 80% Q rather that 100% form the other day so more errors in the received signal for whatever reason. S at 48% staying the same. I refer you back to my earlier post...- Rodders53

OK that proves for that single frequency the aerial alone is insufficient and is giving troubled reception for the Sony as well as the Humax. It also suggests that overload is unlikely. I'd argue that the aerial is not mounted correctly as the pole passes through the X-shaped elements. Normal is for the cradle to be fixed to the very top of the pole and to clear the roof apex by a bit more than that install does. Similar to this...- Rodders53

Mismatch on code is the most likely if a proper Humax remote... Wallace has linked to the solution! If that doesn't work then the "Humax remote" isn't genuine... and is fixed to the 'default code'. A pretty common issue. It may be possible to use the BT remote to reset the Fox-T2 to default...- Rodders53
