      Foxsat-HDR Tuner 1 has failed. Tuner 2 OK

      For starters, do you have a different box to try with, eg. a Sky box ? Does the sky box work with both satellite feeds ? If it does, I'd remove the cover on the Humax, and check if there's any obvious damage around the tuner. Check for bulging capacitors, and anything else which looks wrong...

      Wow that's a lot of responses :-) It's not really an option - my parents would definitely not want to use a smartphone. Regarding that universal remote: it's actually not that crappy - it works great for everything else I have, and has fancy features like "learning" from other remotes...

      I recently got a Foxsat-HDR. I've installed Raydon's custom fimware, and it works great. However, it didn't come with a remote, so now I'm using a combination of a universal remote (A silvercrest, to be specific, not sure what model), which does not control all functions (pause, fast forward...
