  Unfortunately this is one of those faults that only appears over a long period, so it looks like we're going to have to wait for more people to have the problem and provide the situations where the problem appears to be able to narrow down where the fault is. Regarding the 'new series' problem...

  Surely the only ones affected by the broadcaster would be the ones using AR, I'm using 5 mins padding start and finish and there isn't a recording set before or after the scheduled time, anyway that's the symptom where the program is still in the schedule list, after the first time the one on...

  I've noticed the same thing, Daily Politics on BBC2 didn't record today although it was still in the schedule for today + a programme on Pick TV, and various others, padding set front and back on both, the same thing is happening with HDR Fox and HD Fox both running the latest firmware: Custom...

  Replacement unit arrived yesterday complete with original plastic film on the case, looks unused not even a scratch on the plastic film.

  The unit I received arrived in a plain white box so I assume it could have been a shop display model, there was a slight dent in the top of the case, it worked when I first powered it up, tuned in the channels, did a test record etc, the next time I switched it on just got the Humax title screen...

  I hope there is, but like Microsoft when manufacturers discontinue something they tend to lose interest in any upgrades.

  I've just bought an 'A' grade HDR Fox-T2 from Humax Direct it arrived with firmware 1.03.11, does anyone reckon there would be any problem downgrading to 1.03.06 so I can use the custom firmware, there isn't any firmware available for the HDR at all on the Humax site so this is probably the last...

  The recordings are still there but the rename has resulted in the file extensions being added to the file name, the full stop has been missed out, adding the full stop to all of the associated files restores the recording.
