I usually dump +1 channels using Tunefix but I can see that the EPG for ITV3+1 and ITV4+1 consists of just two entries per day:
04:00 to 06:00 Teleshopping
06:00 to 04:00 Programmes start at 4am
I came across this explanation "ITV makes surprise Freeview change" which seems to shed light on...
No news yet from "greatnetwork.com"
This topic has moved on a bit, but that's fine, so.....
On the WebIf EPG screen it would be really useful if a Favourites Channels List could be selected, instead of having to go backwards and forwards between Settings/EPG and the EPG screen.
Is there any...
Update
Today, with no input from me, things have changed dramatically which suggests that "greatnetwork.com" have been doing some housekeeping.
Yesterday, using the Humax UI to search for Genre: Movies, the situation was:
321 entries for channels called "GREAT!....."
79 entries for...
Thanks to everyone for help and suggestions with this.
I plan to delete the GREAT!* channels from the "main" HDR, so that the standard UI can still be used sensibly, and leave them on another HDR which I normally access via WebIf.
It is a pity that genre search using the standard UI ignores a...
Agreed. For example I can see that "GREAT Movies" - "Programmes return at 6am" is classified as "Film/Drama"
I was using the HDR's remote control to search the EPG listing on the TV screen via the Hummy's own UI.
"Guide -> Find -> Genre -> Movie" used in this way seems to ignore Favourite...
I've created a favourite list and selected it.
The EPG display correctly omits the offending channels but a search using "Guide -> Find -> Genre -> Movie" still displays results from the full channel list, unfortunately.
I'm fortunate to have more than one HDR.
Most days I check the "main" one for upcoming movies using the standard Humax interface ( Guide -> Find -> Genre -> Movie).
The standard interface can list a maximum of 400 entries but the limit is often exceeded thanks to the annoying practice of...
When the (manual) restore was attempted, the 1st entry in the schedule list appeared on the screen, although I think it was truncated. Then nothing.
No error message and the process ended, with nothing in the schedule list after reboot.
I'm guessing that the latest backup had been corrupted...
Me too. I make that the 4th time this year on that particular HDR.
The frequency of these occurrences seems to be increasing (I can't recall even one in the 1st 8 years or so of its operation).
Is anything known about what is making these events more frequent?
My auto restore also failed, as...
Whenever I have done this kind of thing on a PC I would use (in your example): -f 160+140
It is important that the video component is the first one specified.
The downloads are done to separate files, combined afterwards by YT-DLP to a new file and the originals deleted.
I think it is that...
Why would you want to extract a radio recording to MPG? Surely you just want the audio.
In which case:
Web-If MAIN >> Browse Media Files >> (Select Single File) >> OPT+ >> Extract audio
I think having no break at all is exceptional but I have noticed many times that things scheduled late at night can have a shorter time slot than the same programme at a busier time.
That seems to be all that is required. I use it quite often on a W10 machine and it works perfectly for me.
I did encounter a problem after switching my internet security program to Bitdefender: it wouldn't allow stripts.exe to work until I had added it to a list of 'safe' exceptions.
I...
Diagnosing this is way above my pay grade but..... I have a strong suspicion that the fact that your disk is 90% full may have a quite a lot to do with the problem.
Disks that are close to full can be erratic, flakey and slow.
If it were mine I would want to copy or delete around 50 to 100GB of...
When in the same room certainly, but I have found that in a modern house the wifi signal in a room adjacent the modem can be too strong for the range extender to work reliably.
I have to agree. I've been using one of these since 2016 and won't be going back to a dongle.
TL-WA860RE
It improves wifi in the tv-room and has an ethernet output socket for the HDR.
It drops out occasionally, maybe once or twice a month on average, but overall I have found it much better...
Interesting problem!
Its on 'Great TV' [LCN=50] and/or 'Great! action' [LCN=42].
Various times, suggest start with 'Great! action' at 6am - 2 episodes each weekday. Repeated at 11:30.
Unfortunately all transmissions have the same Series CRID so recording the "series" will pick up a lot of...
