The Mentalist on Quest Red (40) series record
For some of these channels it is best to use Remote Scheduling Auto set up a "Schedule maching events" rule Won't catch the very last minute changes but does help protect against SCRID misuse, you may also pick up repeat showings but better 2 copies of an episode than none. I have 2 series... -

The lsof -w option does the trick for suppressing the warning messages and I discovered that because I am using [] in my mount folder names the grep in scanmounts was treating the name as a regex rather than a simple text match and failing, adding a -F to grep should fix that and I will test if...- MymsMan

I was surprised to find that all my decryption and detectads processes today were failing with file 'in use' errors It turns out that one of my network shares had gone offline and for some reason scanmounts hadn't noticed or unmounted the share Running lsof manually I saw: that it was running...- MymsMan

You can also run diag fixencflags to fix files where the hmt encryption flag differs from the actual recording- MymsMan

There are couple of oddities Why was the episode recorded on the 30th not submitted for decryption for almost 24 hours? The episode for the 31st didn't actually put the already decrypted status message until 20:06 which is adequate time for decryption to have completed. Perhaps there was a...- MymsMan

You wont be able to generate thumbnails if it is actually encrypted - use the webif bookmarks option - set a random bookmark - click Generate Thumbnails- MymsMan

Sysmon stopped working
If the above doesn't fix the problem it could be the data base has gone bad Check contents of webif-error.log on Diagnostics page and if it indicates problem with monitor.db you can attempt to recover it using the command here or you can just delete monitor.db and lose history- MymsMan

'Reset new flag' command to update all child folders?
It probably would not have sufficient usage to make it a worthwhile addition to the webif. Such manipulations can already be achieved using the Sweeper package You could create a Sweeper rule like (untested): Once you have run the rule once you could disable it (button to left of dustbin icon)...- MymsMan

No EPG for BBC2 and some other channels on webif
The box froze and needed to be rebooted at 6pm when changing between Chase and Wheel of Fortune. I think I will run a fixdisk overnight to see if there are any disk errors lurking.- MymsMan

Epg is now fully populated so one of the unexplained quirks System booted at 16:42 (to record Chase) so it should have had time to populate EPG- MymsMan

I added _InfoExtractor = InfoExtractor from .fakehttp import FakeHTTP as InfoExtractor to common.py And now my download is proceeding so it appears to be a required update- MymsMan

Runaway Recording IN PROGRESS!
So the on TV recording schedule appears empty until rebooted, even after the runaway recording has been stopped I have never seen that, though I don't often look at the schedule on TV so may not have noticed it- MymsMan

Is reboot needed? - most runaways respond to the Stop button. Always surprised me that nugget.recordings doesn't show scheduled end time and that nugget.epg doesn't show program names Was one of the recording started by record button - they don't have an entry in the schedule so I don't know...- MymsMan
