I think what we don't understand is why these units/software are not utilising the CRID information in the broadcast stream (if that is the case). Is it that the HomeRun does not expose them / provide access to them?
That sounds link a series link to me! What else would it be?
From the relevant thread:
There are two main methods for finding information about any particular package: the wiki (link at the top of the page), and my Index (pinned at the top of the CF forum). Obviously, the discussion thread is more verbose but more likely to reflect the current state...
I'm not certain, but I think GParted have that covered: https://gparted.org/gparted-live-boot-param.php
In the manual installation method, I assume the makeboot.bat utility detects the appropriate parameters and sets up the required boot path.
You don't need Rufus (of the four options provided for preparing a GParted live boot on USB, Rufus isn't one of them), but the USB image of GParted won't boot unless you have USB boot enabled in your BIOS. Same applies to optical. The PC won't even look at booting from anything other than...
I recommend GParted. Obviously all the command line tools are available, but it is designed as a rescue tool and provides GUI disk management.
You're putting extra unnecessary complexity/obstacles into the mix, trying to fiddle with Linux file systems using Windows (presuming the DRT-T2000...
Whether or not cold start goes into standby depends what state it was in prior to the cold start (ditto a reboot via WebIF >> Diagnostics). In the case of WebIF reboot, before you actually reboot you are informed what outcome is expected.
Only worry if the behaviour is other than predicted.
It sounds like the sound bar is the problem. It seems stupid that it should not give priority to one input or another, or perhaps it works on the basis that all inputs are live and you have to control the sources – a cheap option.
Sure, but with spaces separating it, it shouldn't be interpreted as a hyphen even if the hyphen glyph has been used in the typography.
A hyphen specifically connects words with prefixes and suffixes. Dashes denote pauses, which may be interpreted (in this case) as a pause and therefore adding...
If you follow the youtube-dl thread on the HDR-FOX CF forum, you'll see that the downloader software requires regular updates to keep up in the arms race of obstacles put up by the streaming servers (which want people to stream, not download). You've not mentioned what you're trying to download...
I can't parse what your actual system setup is, and to be honest the ChatGPT version is an interpretation which may or may not be fact. Neither am I clear where your two cannels of sound ar coming from – on original reading I thought you meant the sound was coming from both the TV and the sound...
It made my head hurt just reading that. It would be enormously easier to read and try to comprehend if it were broken up into paragraphs. The point of paragraphs is to present the text in easy-to-digest chunks.
I had to google to find out what that is. Turns out to be a sound bar. That...
