Yep, even with the machine running the mod software, unplugging results in no mods, which come back after the drive is plugged back in...
Looks like an overnight copy coming up.... so will set that going, the to bed.....
Hmmmm. Could be tricky as without the drive, the mod software doesn't load. Meaning I can't get to the stace command without the drive in there! Found this out by failing to access the webif interface. Got in through telnet and of course all extra bits missing!!
Any humax logs I could look at...
Thanks af123. I have booted my laptop up in Linux and am doing an fsck on it. It forced a check (mounted 247 times without being checked, check forced!!!) and has found an inode error so will wait for it to be marked clean, and try again. If that doesn't work, I'll try the strace method.
OK
deleted the .Trash-10001 and created a blank .Trash-0 - no change
cleared out the .tsr directory - no change
deleted the epgsavedata - no change
deleted the Recycled directory - no change
copied another .ts and .nts pair of files to the .tsr directory - no change
Any ideas, anyone as I...
Ok, I havedirectorues:
. .. .Trash-10001 .tsr Audio Video mod Recycled lost+found
and file "epgsavedata"
The .tsr directory was there already. I am now copying something into the .tsr and renaming as suggested
af123, re-read first post and saw it is available through the web interface.
Have upgraded to 0.6.1 of webif, and wow again! Works for me.
Looked at recording an episode through the EPG and it goes through all the steps until it gives me the "Disabled during testing" message.
I guess we need...
Thanks af123. It does have a Video directory along with Audio (and mod), all from the last format many months ago when I first started using it to record, so I don't think that's the issue. I'm pretty sure the epgdata when viewed on screen is OK. It does do an "update" when powering off, so...
Doh! missed the date by not doing an ls -l, and it's not getting updated on powerdown.
Had noticed today that the HDR is asking to format the drive when it boots up, otherwise it's not able to record to it. This is weird as I did format this drive to the machine, but have been using it in the...
I get /mnt/hd1/dvbepg/epg.dat: No such file or directory.
df lists /dev/sda1 as /media/drive1. Nothing about hd1 being mounted anywhere.
emailed epgsavedata as requested.
No, I had checked that - it was/is set to None, just like the HDR box. Tried setting it to first favourite group which is empty, and no change, even when setting it back.
Can't see why it's different to the HDR when I have tried to keep their set-ups the same.
Thanks af123. Fixed both issues for me on the HDR (and, interestingly, my HD which had the same issues. Ref matching channel, do you need the channels list or something?).
On the HD, I have another minor problem - there is nothing in the Now/Next page of the EPG, but it does display the results...
Rebooted the box (had an issue with the HDMI while listening on Radio and a recording started, so it switched to the TV channel and then I couldn't see a picture, so had to reboot - anyone seen the same?). Still get the same error on search.
