  watched last weeks being human, watched about 80 % of the programme, with no problems, then last bit, sounded like really muffled and crackly (sorry about description) dont ask if it was HD or not (got annoyed and deleted it) nothing wrong with AV equip. or humax, checked anyone else had similar

  perhaps there should be some kind of training for the humax, maybe even a test, and if you fail you can never own a humax, cause you would be classed as being to stupid. that would stop the lock up problem, or put age limits on the box ( ONLY SUITABLE FOR THE AGES BETWEEN 15-60) the misses...

  i had a lot of HD problems with my 9200 as well, but the user interface was one of the best i've used. no major HD problems so far on the HDR, if you liked the interface then go for HDR, some of the usability from the 9200 have gone, but may come back with updates, in other ways its better...

  has i have said before on this thread, its my 6 year old who is doing it, the two file thing is only on the files that where locked. try for your self lock some files. as for educating my family, just get rid of the bug

  ok then, lets recap what may or may not be a bug if not stopped correctly file is locked, only thing available is sort and new folder. the only way to unlock the file is to press play and then stop, however if you dont know that, your harddrive would soon fill up. when there are multiple files...

  considering what you have to do to delete the file, if it was intended, it would have been in the manual. as i've not seen it anywhere, it must be a bug with the software

  i thought the two box's where very similar (hardware speaking). but you must remember humax only has one person working on all the software for every product in their range. he's part time though, one day a week, so when you take in for holidays,sick days, special leave, unpaid leave, paternity...
