Erm, yes, sorry. Missed a whole part of this thread clearly and I thought I kept a good eye on this forum.... you can't search for anything that short, should have used eyes and scrolled up :-)
Can you add the route to your NAS instead? Otherwise maybe you can get a bit creative with subnet masks:
Router - 192.168.1.1
Humax - 192.168.1.3
NAS 192.168.1.xx - anything 8 or above say. For humax try setting subnet mask to 255.255.255.248
Then unless the Humax will still listen to...
Can anyone help this guy with only partial webif working, not something I've had to fix myself:

I was hoping this would have helped the EPG too as it was much better when initially reset to defaults, but then back to normal when tried a short while later.
"This remote has gone a bit slow, does it need new batteries" + other comments about it so not just me.
I thought I posted earlier...
I did a factory reset this morning inbetween recordings of cbeebies stuff.... the EPG then seemed very quick like it used to be to start with, but then presumably when it had populated fully had slowed down again, though I think still less lagging than it was before the reset. Schedule...
ChrisDaniels - interesting as we get the annoyingly slow EPG movement too... did that retain the recordings, just not settings and schedule as never needed to do a factory reset on the Humax?
Great stuff, working well on 'old' unit with iPlayer / portal looking good. I wonder if that means the new browser could handle the other catchup services regardless of whether humax make them available (like the general browser in xtra portal before?)
Have I missed another thread on this, a search didn't throw one up?
Application Market entry showing up in TV portal with a dozen fairly useless applications like "OK magazine" and "daily express"...
Yep... and 50% ish of 54Mbits is about the same too... if you are on wireless or wired each packet goes into your switch then gets pushed back out at the other port at the speed it needs so the connection from you to switch as long as higher or the same as the other device then speed will be...
take a known file size. copy it with one, and the other and time how long it takes in seconds.
25 utilsation of 100'bit is about 25'bit naturally = around 2:5Mbytes a second. similar to your gigabit frankly....
Or even better have it's own "update new channels" ... does this do anything apart from just update the databases tables?
i.e. if you can view the different tuned muxes, and remove channels from showing, could you add them - if you can't have it to scan the mux or read the current info. on the...
Only any different between the PC and another gigabit device such as NAS or another PC. If your router can share a USB device you could put a drive on that and access it from the Humax and the PC...
Should say 1492 MTU size on router is supposed to be most efficient but it all depends on what is between you and the host you talk to along the way. If you do a fragment test and find your MTU needs to be lower than 1492 on the internet side then lowering it to the 'right' value can increase...
MTU shouldn't matter at all on the local network or indeed for most things on the internet. All that it means is the biggest packet size that can be sent out in one go. 1500 is the normal maximum but devices can choose to use bigger packets between them etc.
As I see it if you send a bigger...
