I can't comment in the other issues but I have the same message on RS 1.0.1. I never used the previous version of RS as I have only installed It relatively recently. I've tried all the diagnostics I can find including diskpush but these have failed to resolve it.
I've had a look at my HDR disk diagnostics in the Webif and one of the HDRs has an "amber" coloured line for ID 5 with a raw value of 96. Does this mean anything? The HDR is two years old.
The lines 197 and 198 have raw values of zero.
Thanks

Hi all. I've had an instance recently where a Sign Language programme was recorded somehow and the auto dedup moved the existing file (non-sign) into duplicates which I then deleted... I'm also now using the useful auto-expire on some duplication folders which is very good.
I don't know if the...
We have 2 HDRs linked by foxlink but until yesterday it was only running "one way". I have found it probably the best feature of the CF. I was also put off by the potential mess I could make trying to get network auto mounts to work.
One of our HDRs is connected to our router by network...
I use mvdisks and my understanding of it is this:
You cannot move anything between internal and external drives and vice versa using the mounted folder under my videos. It says it is moving but nothing happens or will ever happen!
However, you can COPY between internal and external drives and...
I think some user control over the timing of decrypt and shrink scans and thus actions would be very useful.
I don't know if its linked to the release of the new web-if version (but it seems to be a coincidence so am posting here) my HDR seems to be selectively not doing ded-up actions today...
Ah I see. Because I've seen intermittent issues with momentary picture breakup on HD recordings which I have been trying to trace and have tentatively linked it with the scans I was trying to give the scans as little to do as practical without losing the functionality. I am open to the fact that...
Sorry if this is obvious but to clarify do I need to rename my mvdisks mount folder name to start with a "[" to remove it from the recursive automatic processing? Thanks
Having re-checked I was recording 2 HD programmes simultaneously and playing back a recorded HD programme. Whilst this was all going on it was also auto-decrypting. Perhaps this is as loaded as you can get and thus a rare event.
An update...
So far (1 hour of viewing only!) no interference on watching recorded HD apart from 2 instances. When checking the log this time it was finishing an auto-decrypt on both occasions.
I use auto-decrypt and foxlink to link this box to my other HDR - a great feature of the CF.
I...
I haven't been able to sit and watch anything I've recorded since I removed auto-shrink from the 5 folders but I have noticed in the auto.log that the shrink scan time has dropped from over 90secs to under 1sec.
I then checked my other box and realised I had used auto-shrink extensively for...
Thanks for the replies.
I haven't got Sysmon installed.
I have only got 5 folders with auto-shrink enabled but I will take that off and see if it helps. Thanks
Hi all. I have been running the custom firmware for a month or so and have recently noticed regular picture interference on recordings. The interference lasts a few seconds but is annoying, particularly as my wife assumes it must be something I've done!
I have two HDR Fox T2s and am...
Thanks. I'd tried the reboot and putting a space " " to give the text field a value but that didn't work. I've tried the "None" and that works fine thank-you. As you say it would be nice to have an empty text box or even remove the Guidance "G" but the replacement text is a good step forward...
Hi all. Does anyone else experience guidance text for a recording that is completely wrong?
For example I have recently recorded two kids films "Babe" (about a talking pig) and "Nanny McPhee". The Guidance Text for these is "Contains acts of violence, strong language and scenes of a sexual...
