Ok no worries, if that does not work out I should be able to assist. I already had a more basic P-Touch labeller and had no intention of buying another, till I watched THIS video 😂
I can remember having this issue previously, for a couple of examples see HERE and HERE It's annoying as subsequent recordings when using accurate recording also fail. I am also using wired connections like you. I have not discovered the actual cause yet as the issue resolves itself after a day...
We really need @lc200 to confirm. But I also think this is probably a network issue and not reception related.
@stunts Welcome to the forum. How is your Quatro connected to your network?
@lc200 Still having recording problems which seem to be related to the corrupt packets. I would appreciate some insight into the potential causes of these errors. For now I changed the priority on my Quatro's to see if that makes any difference. As mentioned before if I get an error on a channel...
Can't help you with that one. I'm still hoping they'll add proper command line options so we can script around that. I also wish it ran as a service. It is excellent at the detection and removal we just need the some options to better control and integrate it...
@lc200 LOL understood. @MymsMan Yeah that's my main issue with it, if the channel name column and time row could be made frozen it would be a massive improvement...
@lc200 Thanks yeah it looks like it. I'm a bit spoiled by the HDR-Fox T2 with Tunefix looking after this me. This did not go without incident. I put all 10 frequencies in for Winter Hill and set the retune going, On the 3rd frequency I think it just appeared to no longer progress. Eventually I...
Thanks. I should probably have said I use the Winter hill. I still have one HDR-Fox T2 plugged in and that is getting the guide data ok as are my various TV's.
Noticed tonight that the guide data of only BBC1 HD is missing. I tried manually refreshing a couple of times. I checked live TV for my primary Quatro on BBC1 HD and it displays fine, confirming no issue with the tunimg or reception. Any ideas on what might have cause this @lc200 and how best to...
I think they will fix this at some point. At the end of the day I can live with the quirks as the actual ad-removal results with this software are so good already.
FYI. I asked them what logic Adbreaker is currently using for split recordings and the answer I got was:-
DvrOnTime:
Kodi:
Humax:
If you are using Windows to copy files into a folder that AdBreaker is watching, then Windows often copies the second part first. This used to be a problem for...
@dearleuk Thanks for that. I did email them and got the following response "Yes, R&D are still working on AdBreaker. There is a new version in the beta test phase right now, due for release as soon as they are happy with it." 😊
Do we know if it's still being developed? I did hear back from them a few times re: suggestions, but it seems to have gone very quiet in terms of software updates...
