His doesn't want to scroll per channel *instead* of per page
You could page down then just nudge the channels until you have all the main channels on the same page
Now you can still page down but you can no longer nudge down or up
So now you end up with BBC channels on one page and 3, 4 and 5 on...
Not sure whether this will shed light but I have recently attached an external usb drive to my 4000 and when it reboots (which it does daily at the moment) with the external drive connected the internal drive recordings completely disappear
TO make them reappear I have to disconnect the...
I don't get why Humax have not included a three colour led to clearly show the state of the box, especially since it takes at least a minute for it to burst into life leaving you scratching your head wondering whether you've switched it on, only to press again and switch it back off. I've got...

4000 can also stream channels through VLC android app
4000 already has built-in DLNS media server and you can play content from a desktop or again via VLC android ap
All for FREE
So am I missing something...
Turns out both my USB drive formatted to fat32 which I thought was universal but doesn't work on the 4000 I've converted to ntfs and whilst it took me 1 terabyte drive 2 days to shift all the stuff backwards and forwards it now works perfectly

Well at least somebody managed to get it working
I've tried with two different drives both of which work fine with my Chromebook and my Windows desktop
I will give it a try with the 3rd but if that doesn't work I just have to assume that my 4000 is busted

Thanks for all the suggestions but my question still remains has anyone actually tried it can anyone else use it? is my real question
That doesn't seem much point in the exploring all these options my end if the box itself simply does not work so
has anyone managed to get this to work?
