BTW, I've added screenshots of the web interface (and iPhone/smartphone skin) to the wiki for people who like to see what they're getting before they take the plunge :)

Yup; had the same issues on mine.. and running them via telnet afterwards didn't work.. I had to delete the lock file & then stuff started working again.
Screenshots of it in action on my Android phone are now on the wiki;

Maybe the title shouldn't be Humax for iPhone.. it's a bit more generic than that.
Ah, didn't realise that. All I saw was the error & I've not restarted the box. Shame about that, maybe we'll get that cracked in the future so it won't need a reboot.
Recording looks like it's currently disabled in this version of webif.
For remote access you need to configure your router to port forward to the Humax. You'll need to check your router for info on that. I'd also make sure you secure the webif, otherwise anyone could access your box from the...

It also seems as though something had broken the...
I think some people would be happy to lose the ff/rwd/skip functionality for most kids TV episodes & be glad to get some disk space back. I've not had much luck being able to play back files edited on a PC using avidemux.
Cool. I updated all my packages this morning. So I just run..
hmt -encrypted recording.ts
and that should make it playable? Just playing with avidemux to see if I can trim down a recording on a Windows PC and still have the recording play back properly.
I've pushed back a decrypted file after cutting portions out of it using avidemux. However, when I attempt playback on the TV it says the content is scrambled. Do I need to do something to make the .ts valid in the eyes of the box? Apologies for the n00b questions, but I'm just getting into this...
