I just update from 1.2.4-1 to 1.2.4-2 and got an error (of sorts) message:

I'm not sure whether to start a fresh thread: I've had intermittent success with detectads.
On one occasion I 'lost' the second half of a thread when there was a mismatch and things got out of step.
More usually ( tho' I haven't tried it much) I have seen the progress showing detection of...
Just in case it helps..
I get the crash just after starting, whether or not I press anything, and I noticed it as a possible problem after going to CF 3.x
I maintain at least 120GB free on a 500GB HDD, and have a wifi dongle.
Frequency of occurence is unpredictable, and isn't correlating to...
Thanks for that informed discussion - I now have it 'fixed'.
The clearing the browser cache proved to be the critical one.
Before reading the discussion, I had already tried, just now, from a different machine - no problem.
So went to original browser instance, and problem still there. Cleared...
I've managed to get the same symptoms again.
Can anybody suggest how to get out if this state, as there doesn't seem to be anything I can do in WebIF, and I cannot get a reboot under diagnostics?
I've found that some UPDs, which Windows won't do anything with, can be brought back to a semblance of normality by use of gparted under a linux system (which, of course, can be a system booted from CD etc with a Live Linux distro).
I currently have 2 64GB Patriot UPDs recovered in this fashion...
I'm pretty sure that you could then copy them, with the HDD in an enclosure.
In my experience, the multiply claimed blocks evidence crossed and corrupted chains in the file structure.
Sometimes you can work out whether one file is uncorrupted, and another has to be discarded, but I don't know a...
I haven't a picture to hand - but it most certainly isn't TP-Link - in fact it is a technicolor TG589vn, which seems to be a Thomson router, rebadged.
The interface is horrible and slow, and the most important bits of configuration I had to effect by editing an ini file as the wizard provided...
However, it may be the only practical way to effect it.
I speak as one who was quite happy to bind the IPs on the router, but had to change method when I found that my (enforced change) new router showed the IPs as bound to MACs, but then handed out 'random' IPs from the DHCP pool if the devices...
I think the debris would be in decaying orbits - question is how long before it disappears.
Difference in quality - has to depend on equipment and your location. At root, they are the same definition, but there are differences as to channels supplied.
I found, yesterday, after doing some file manipulation through the browser (FF esr 31.7.0) that I had, in the view showing /media/My Video, 2 busy indicators - one for loading the clipboard, the other for 'retrieving data', both with little circling arrows.
I left the box overnight (in standby)...
While visiting my brother-in-law recently, I had occasion to try to find out more about HDMI and cables because he had a setup where he ought to have been able to use ARC to get sound to his soundbar - but nothing we tried worked.
In the course of searches, I found that someone alleged that...
I just returned after some days away to find an auto-tune event scheduled for 14 may at 0430.
It doesn't disappear when I try to delete it from the web view.
I'm running CF3.03.
Can anyone enlighten me as to source and implications - I feel I should already know, but my mind is blank?
Here is Nicesplice
I suggest the tab at the forum top saying Wiki is a good place to look for things - the first menu has nicesplice, but not sure how far down fixdisk might be
